AVARIST is a modern hard rock and metal band from Phoenix, Arizona, blending crushing riffs, cinematic atmosphere, infectious vocal melodies, and emotionally driven songwriting into music that cuts through the noise.
Formed in 2022, AVARIST features Vana Grey on vocals, Jason on guitar, Ash on bass, and Chris on drums. The band’s sound combines the memorable hooks and melodies of modern rock with guitar-driven intensity inspired by the early-2000s metalcore scene.
In 2024, AVARIST released the singles “Euphoria,” “Kaylee,” and “Changing,” introducing a dynamic sound built on heaviness, melody, and raw emotion. Now entering a new era, the band is preparing to release its second EP in late 2026.
Each song explores a different chapter of the human experience—from feeling scattered, disconnected, and unheard to finding clarity, connection, and hope. Inspired by the belief that even in life’s darkest moments, there is still a signal worth finding, AVARIST creates music for anyone searching for something real beyond the noise.
